Terms of Service: Steam Value Checker
Last updated: October 26, 2026
By using Steam Value Checker ("the bot") you agree to these terms.
- What it is. The bot shows price information for games, using data from IsThereAnyDeal. It is a convenience tool, not financial or purchasing advice.
- Accuracy. Prices change quickly and can be wrong, out of date or missing. Title matching can pick the wrong game. The bot gives no guarantee that a price is available to you or that a store will honour it. Check the store before you buy.
- Your input. Do not post game keys, passwords or other secrets to the bot. Do not use it to break the rules of Discord, Steam, IsThereAnyDeal or any store.
- Fair use. The bot limits how often you can run commands. Do not try to get around those limits or overload the bot or its data provider.
- Availability. The bot is provided as is, without warranty. It can change, stop working or be removed at any time without notice.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, the author is not responsible for any loss caused by using the bot or relying on its information.
- No affiliation. The bot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, Steam, Fanatical, IsThereAnyDeal or Discord. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- Wishlist alerts. If you use
/me wishlist, you agree that the bot stores the data listed in [PRIVACY.md](PRIVACY.md) and sends you alerts by direct message, or in a server's alert channel as described there. You can stop at any time with/alerts pauseor/me mydata delete. Alerts are best effort: they can be late, missed or wrong, and a price may be gone by the time you click. Do not rely on them for time-critical purchases. - Server admins. An alert channel posts members' alerts, including game names, to everyone who can see it. Choose it with that in mind.
- Privacy. See [PRIVACY.md](PRIVACY.md).
- Changes. These terms may be updated. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
